Functional Interfaces Research Group

The main activities of the Functional Interfaces Research Group are the study of different, particularly electrochemical processes occurring at solid-liquid interfaces, as well as the development of corresponding measurements and surface modification techniques. The scientific achievements reached on the area of electrochemical energy conversion and storage, directed metal dissolution processes, and the highly sensitive analytical methods are related to many aspects of materials science.  The results are utilized in the field of energy production and storage, environmental and medical developments.
